This page explains how the website handles information you provide and the services it uses.
What this website collects about you
This site has no visitor accounts, sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts. If you submit the referral form, we receive the contact details and brief description you choose to provide.
The referral form
When you select Submit referral inquiry, the website sends the details you enter to our office by email. The website does not save a copy of the message in its files. Our email system holds the resulting email. The form keeps limited technical records to restrict repeated submissions and prevent duplicate sends; these do not contain your message, name, email address or plain network address.
Please do not include detailed clinical histories, court records, psychological reports or other highly sensitive material in a first email. We will provide instructions for secure transmission of records when they are required.
The questions button
The “Questions” feature in the corner of each page shows pre-written answers to common administrative questions. It has no typing field, gives no clinical or psychological advice, does not record which questions you tap, and transmits nothing. It provides general information only; no professional relationship is created by using it.
The map on our contact page
The map is not loaded until you press “Show map”. If you do, your browser contacts OpenStreetMap to fetch it, and that request is subject to their privacy practices. If you never press it, no third party is contacted.
Hosting
Like every website, this site is delivered by a hosting provider, whose servers keep standard technical logs, such as the network addresses of requests, in order to serve pages and protect against abuse. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.
Clinical services are a separate matter
This policy describes this website only. How personal health information is collected, used, protected and disclosed in the course of professional services is governed by Ontario law and is explained before any service begins.
