Why systems experience matters

Our psychologists bring experience not only as clinicians but as people who have worked inside large institutional systems: managing psychological and mental-health services, interdisciplinary teams, budgets, staffing, contracting, quality assurance and program accreditation.

That gives the practice an understanding of both the clinical question and the organizational environment in which recommendations must actually function.

International consultation

Members of Forensic Behaviour Services have worked, presented, consulted and collaborated internationally. Potential engagements may include:

Dr. Fernandez has longstanding correctional program accreditation and advisory experience associated with His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service in the United Kingdom. Dr. Looman has extensive forensic experience in the United States and is licensed to practice psychology in Washington State. Dr. Serran has presented professional work internationally, including invited presentations and workshops outside Canada.

International engagements are considered individually according to the nature of the service, professional jurisdiction and regulatory requirements.
